Prices

Nobody likes getting a shock when they’re presented with a massive bill for work that has been carried out for them, right?
Which is why before deciding on what rates of pay I was going to offer to my customers, I carried out some research to see what other trades were coming in at, because naturally I wanted to be as competitive as I possibly could.
Now, it’ll come as no surprise to you that since the pandemic, prices have shot through the roof and pretty much affected everything across the board, whether it’s the cost of materials, labour costs, overheads and even the cost of fuel…In a nutshell, the cost of living has gone CRAZY!
I know, we all hate it, but unfortunately, there’s no escaping it 🙁
Most tradesmen nowadays (plumbers, electricians, joiners, etc) are charging anywhere in the region of £400 to £500 a day, which can sting quite a bit, especially if you have no choice but to use a particular niche tradesman for a certain job that needs doing.
However, even though I can bring multiple skill sets into the mix, I wanted to offer my customers a more affordable service that isn’t too hard on the purse strings, therefore, I decided on offering a relatively competitive hourly rate:
- The first hour is £50 and then £20 per half hour after that.
- Full day rates are currently set at £200.
- The prices are from when I arrive at your property until when I leave your property.
- If I need to leave the job half way through to collect any necessary materials to complete the work, this is chargeable at a reduced rate (50% less than the half hour rate).
- The above rates should be treated as guides only, for example: I would NOT charge £50 for the first hour if you only needed a simple light bulb changing.
- If I’m already in your area carrying out a job for someone else, the first hours rate may be reduced depending on the situation (how small the job is etc) terms apply.
- If you live outside of my geographical working radius, this may incur an extra charge.
- I also offer a 10% discount scheme for OAP’s.

I’ve tried to be as transparent as I possibly can be with my rates and the above list explains in detail what you should expect to pay? This avoids any misunderstanding when your handyman job has been completed for you and you won’t get any unexpected shocks!
So why not get in touch with me now and get those niggly little odd jobs done that are long overdue…

My gutters were full of mossy soil and when it rained heavy the water was flowing over the edge of the gutter and onto my wall so I rang premier handyman services to get it sorted. The water goes where it’s supposed to now…Brilliant job!

I wasn't sure whether or not it was worth calling because the only problem I had was a blocked sink, but I called Mark and explained that my water was draining away really slowly but thankfully he came and sorted it out. Great!
