Hi there and thanks for taking the time to visit my ‘About Me’ page.

I’m Mark and I’m the founder of Premier Handyman Services and I just wanted to give you a quick insight on my background and how and why this business came to fruition.

I guess it all started from a very early age, because I always enjoyed working with my hands, whether it was repairing and modifying old Chopper bicycles for fun, or tinkering around the house with my dad. I don’t know why, I suppose you either enjoy it, or you don’t, but I was always drawn to it.

Anyway, fast forward to my working life and my jobs always involved using my hands, I was never really an academic type of person, I always wanted to learn new hands on skills and gain knowledge in multiple fields.

I’ve held many different jobs through my lifetime and most of them have been in different lines of work and in different trades. I suppose this came from me wanting to keep on learning new skills and expand my knowledgebase.

My main skill that I went to college and trained for was to become plumbing/gas engineer. I’m actually a time served plumber/gas engineer and I’ve worked for a number of companies whilst in the plumbing industry and was also trained by one of the companies for Part P electrical certification, which was another string to my bow.

As I progressed through life in my different job roles, I was also (in the background) carrying out quite a lot of home improvements and over the years, I’ve literally lost count on the numerous DIY jobs I’ve done for myself, family members and friends alike.

The thing is, I really enjoyed it and the best way I can explain it is, I get a real buzz from seeing what I’ve achieved, but best of all is it’s incredibly satisfying to see the persons face light up after I’ve carried out a job for them!

So I figured, if my family and friends were pleased with the work I’d done for them, then why not offer my services out to others?

And this is why Premier Handyman Services was born.
